Richard Nicoll Topshop to Launch Bridal Range Collection 2012!

High street favourite take to Twitter to announce collaboration with designer Richard Nicoll, Every now and then we hear bit of bridal news that makes our heart skip a beat. And this is one of those moments because we’ve read a tweet from Topshop announcing their first ever range of wedding dresses. Wow!
The Topshop team sent high-street-loving brides-to-be into a tail spin with this 136 character tweet that simply reads “Want to get married just so we can wear our @studio_nicoll bridal collection set to land in June. Can’t give you a sneak peek but wow!”

The full details remain strictly under wraps but the collection will be created by British designer Richard Nicoll who is famed for his use of oh-so-pretty sheer fabrics and girly flowing cuts. He’s already collaborated with Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton so we’re expecting great things. No pressure, Richard!
RICHARD NICOLL has created a collection of bridal dresses for Topshop. The dresses, which all feature Nicoll’s signature sculptural shapes and feminine fabrics, will be available from this June – although images are yet to be released.

“Want to get married just so we can wear our @studio_nicoll bridal collection set to land in June,” Topshop Tweeted after its press team revealed the collection at an event today. “Can’t give you a sneak peek but wow!”
Although the collection hasn’t yet been photographed, we hear it’s intended as a “modern alternative to meringue culture”. The offering isn’t Nicoll’s first foray into bridal design, however. He has created dresses for two friends recently – both of which he shared on his blog.
