Jennifer Lopez finally officially resigned as judge of American Idol to focus with the other project. J-Lo’s resignation just a day after Steven Tyler announced similar steps.
J-Lo certainty resignation was revealed when a host of American Idol, Ryan Seacrest called him by telephone on the show On Air Radio Show. J-Lo actually admitted she was unhappy with her role as a juror, but she must be sacrificed for the sake of other ambitions.
Something must be sacrificed. I was groggy a phone call from you,” said J-Lo in on Ryan.
“To be honest I feel the time has come and I have to go back to doing something else, and you should pay attention to it too. I’ll still love the ‘Idol’ in the rest of my life. I think we have done extraordinary things.
J-Lo reportedly prefers to focus on other projects such as movies or music. She admitted the difficulty to divide her time if it continues to be the judges of American Idol as she did in the past two years. “I can not be there every day like I did the last two years,” said J-Lo.
